Women and Children’s Rights

At LiFo, we recognize that women and children are among the most marginalized and vulnerable members of our communities. Traditional norms, cultural practices, and certain religious beliefs often contribute to their plight. To address this, we are dedicated to empowering women and children through comprehensive advocacy, educational initiatives, and direct service delivery.

Advocacy and Legal Frameworks
LiFo conducts targeted lobby and advocacy campaigns focused on promoting and reinforcing legal frameworks that ensure equality and justice. Our efforts are aimed at creating a society where laws and policies are deliberate and effective in safeguarding the rights of women and children.

Awareness and Education
We believe that empowerment begins with awareness. LiFo carries out extensive awareness programs designed to educate women and children about their rights. By providing them with the knowledge and tools they need, we empower them to demand and protect these rights confidently.

Service Delivery
In addition to advocacy and education, we empower women and children through direct service delivery. LiFo organizes and delivers essential resources such as school supplies, ensuring that children have the materials they need to succeed in their education. Our Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) campaigns include the donation of sanitary pads, promoting health, hygiene, and dignity for young girls and Women

Basic Human Rights
LiFo advocates for the basic human rights to essential necessities. We recognize that access to shelter, clothing, and WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) facilities is fundamental to the well-being and dignity of women and children. Our efforts focus on ensuring that these basic needs are met, creating a supportive environment where every individual can thrive.
