The Menstrual Hygiene Campaign, organized annually by the Limitless Foundation, focuses on raising awareness, providing education, and offering tangible support to address the challenges associated with menstrual health, particularly for young girls and women. This holistic effort includes educational sessions on menstrual hygiene practices, distribution of menstrual products such as disposable sanitary pads, reusable sanitary towels or hygiene kits, and advocacy to combat Period Poverty.
In addition to distributing essential menstrual products, our campaign includes teaching sewing skills to create reusable pads. This empowers girls with practical knowledge to manage their menstrual health sustainably. Period Poverty significantly impacts girls in school, leading to missed educational opportunities, decreased self-esteem, and hindered personal development.
Through these initiatives, we aim to empower young girls by ensuring they have access to essential resources and the skills to manage their menstrual health confidently. By addressing Period Poverty, we envision a future where every girl can attend school regularly, free from the challenges posed by menstruation, and achieve their full potential. Join us in breaking barriers and promoting dignity through menstrual hygiene awareness and sustainable support. Together, we can make a lasting impact in the lives of young girls.
